Canine Academy specializes in functional basic obedience, offered via small group classes or one-on-on stay-and-train programs at Barks & Rec. We focus on both dog and owner education with the goal of getting your dog off-leash in as little as 90-days. We help owners understand where their dog’s behavior comes from and how to reduce those unwanted behaviors through positive e-collar stimulation. Our training system strengthens the bond between dog and owner, unlocking a new lifestyle for both.

 

Our training methodology has been proven for over 30 years and works for dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes. Our trainers are best in class, with a variety of training backgrounds and experience training over 1000 dogs, combined. During any of our training programs, you will work directly with your dedicated trainer. You’ll address specific behavioral concerns and teach your dog basic commands such as staying in place and walking at your side.
